HISTORICAL FACTS:
This property was settled by Samuel Miller around 1815. Samuel was the cofounder of Millersburg and a veteran of the War of 1812. He is buried in Millers Creek Cemetery about ½ mile south.
The University of Missouri – Columbia School of Archology conducted a survey and excavation of a Native American village which was in the SW corner of the property. Several artifacts were found.
The property is part of a 480-acre farm owned and operated by the seller. It has been in the seller’s family since 1910 through 5 generations. There are some restrictions on the property to respect the struggles of the past inhabitants of the land.
